Not any longer. VDL:2 was discontinued in 2007 when VDL 2.5 was released. For the first few years we offered an upgrade path for VDL:2 users, but that is no longer available.
Keep in mind, Virtual Drumline 2.5 is its own new product with a new interface, new features, and a new, much more robust Kontakt Player and with it you'll get a brand new serial number. If you're using VDL:2 and would like to use version 2.5, you will need to purchase a new license. You can learn more about VDL 2.5 here.
