Can I trigger VDL for live performance?

Yes! If you use a MalletKAT, Pearl MalletSTATION, Xylosynth or some other form of MIDI keyboard controller to send MIDI-Out into your computer where Kontakt Player receives MIDI in from this device, you can easily use it in a live setting. If you want to trigger VDL sounds using some sort of drum pad controller, it may involve some more detailed setup within the hardware. Mainly, since many VDL instruments contain more sounds than your controller has pads, you'd need to define which exact pitches from the VDL patch you intend for each drum pad to trigger. The usefulness of this may depend on the feature-set of your drum pad device.
